Erma Ellen Smuin Corless, the second of ten children, to Hyrum Smuin and Idella Slaugh Smuin, passed away July 2, with her family by her side.

She is survived by her children, Sherry Lou Hardinger of Vernal, DeMar (Lorena) Boren of Bandera, Texas, Terry J. Boren of Vernal, Gerry K. (Connie) Boren of Vernal; 33 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward T. Corless; her parents; son-in-law Frank Hardinger; two sisters and 2 brothers.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter -day Saints. She served as the ward librarian for many years. She loved spending time in her flower and vegetable garden, and from her small garden kept the family and neighbors supplied with vegetables. She loved birds and collected bird knick-knacks. She had a great sense of humor, and always brightened your day. She loved poetry, and wrote poems for every occasion.

She will be loved and missed very much.

Interment took place at the Vernal Memorial Park under the direction of the Blackburn Vernal Mortuary.
