SERVICES SET FOR J. NOLAND

Funeral services for the father of three Davis men is set for Friday, Sept. 13. Johnny T. Noland of Wynnewood, father of Earl, Virgil and Dale Noland, died at 7:45 a.m. Wednesday in The Robberson-Shirley hospital, Wynnewood, after a long illness.

Services will be in the Wynnewood Methodist church at 2:00 p.m. with interment in Green Hill cemetery, Davis. The pastor of the church will conduct services. Arrangements are being made by Wynnewood Funeral home.

Noland was born in Texas and died just one day before his 83rd birthday. He had lived in Garvin county near Wynnewood for more than 50 years. He and his wife observed their 64th wedding anniversary on July 5. Noland was a retired farmer.

Survivors include his wife, Maud; three sons, Earl, Virgil, and Dale of Davis; four daughters, Mrs. Ruby Kennedy and Mrs. Ada Lancaster, both of Wynnewood; Mrs. Vesta Latimer of Sulphur, and Mrs. June Cobb of Ada; one sister, Mrs. Attie Williams of Wynnewood; one brother, Sam Noland of Maud; 23 grandchildren, and 20 great grandchildren. One son and one daughter preceded their father in death.
