ETHRIDGE, Bettie Jean, age 84, passed away July 6, 2009, in Mission Viejo, California. She was born April 26, 1925, in Chicago, Illinois. Bettie lived in the Antelope Valley from 1953 to 1986, she was a longtime member of Lancaster United Methodist Church. Upon retirement in 1986, she moved to Oceanside, California, to be closer to family. Bettie is survived by one son and two daughters, Richard Ethridge and his wife Linda of Mission Viejo, Linda Grubbs of Escondido, Carolyn Mustille and her husband Michael of Oakland, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held from Noon to 1 p.m., Friday, July 10, 2009, at HalleyOlsen-Murphy, Chapel, Lancaster. Graveside Services will follow at 2 p.m., at Lancaster District Cemetery.
