KILLED BY TRAIN BURIED FRIDAY
STAUNTON. Jan. 24. - Chesley D. Shultz, 55, Staunton printing firm executive, "came to his death by deliberately stepping in front of an oncoming train for the purpose of self-destruction." Coroner T. M. Parkins said yesterday.
Shultz was instantly killed on the Chesapeake & Ohio line here Wednesday morning. Bad health and business worries are believed to have prompted the suicide. The funeral was held from the residence here yesterday afternoon at 4 o'clock.
Mr. Shultz was an uncle of Mrs. Fred Chaney, of Chestnut street, who was apprized of his death soon after it had taken place.
