James Terry Answers Last Summons Friday
James Terry, 79, died Friday morning at eight o'clock of heart trouble. Mr. Terry had not been very strong for several years but his death was unexpected. He worked around the place the day before he died and was up and had breakfast as usual Friday morning. Funeral services were conducted Saturday morning at the home by Rev. Timmons Terry, interment following in the home cemetery. The deceased is survived by his widow, Mrs. Violet Terry; nine sons, Lawrence, Benford, Fed, Jimmie, Henry, Richmond, Sandy, Ellis, and Alvie; one daughter, Mrs. Clark Thompson; two sisters, Mrs. Nancy Terry of Mt. Moriah and Mrs. Lizzie Terry of Texas.
