Services have been set for Gary M. Gordon, 39, long-time Dodge Center area resident, who died early Monday morning in Kasson of a gunshot wound.
The funeral will be 2 P.M. Thursday at the Gust Funeral Home in Dodge Center. Burial will be in the Wildwood Cemetery at Wasioja.
Mr. Gordon was born April 27, 1940, in Elmira, N.Y. He married Joan Emrice Crandall on Nov. 24, 1961, in Rochester. The couple lived in the Dodge Center area most of their married lives.
Mr. Gordon had previously been employed as a laborer for Dodge County and by a fishery in Grand Rapids. He currently was disabled and unemployed. Mrs. Gordon survives and is an employee of the Fairview Nursing Home in Dodge Center.
Other survivers include two sons, Ace and Garrett, both at home; two daughters, Penny and Tammy, both at home; his mother, Mrs. Bernard (Frances) Graves of Montgomery, Ala.; three brothers, John, Skip and Dennis Gordon, all of Elmira, N.Y.; three half-sisters, Mrs. Bonnie Snyder of Minneapolis and Dallas and Nona, both of Montgomery. He was preceded in death by his father and two half-brothers.
Friends may call at the Gust Funeral Home from 7 to 9 P.M. Wednesday or from 9 A.M. until the time of services Thursday.
