Husband of Alice May (Smith) Morse Haywood and Eliza Morse. Alice and Anthony were married on September 15, 1890 in Yuba County, California. Anthony was divorced from Alice May (Smith) Morse before 1910. He was the son of Orison Dayton Morse and Amanda R. (Rallya) Morse. Father of 4 girls and 2 boys with Alice including: Myrtle, Leona, Nellie, Harold, Theodore Edward "Ted" and Eloise Morse.

Obituary - San Francisco Chronicle, July 16, 1939:

MORSE - In this city, July 13, 1939. Anthony W. Morse. A member of Oroville Lodge No. 103 F and A.M. and Oroville Chapter, Royal Arch Masons. Friends are invited to attend the funeral Tuesday, July 18, 1939, at 1 pm, from the mortuary of Julius S. Godeau, Inc, 41 Van Ness Ave., where services will be held under the auspices of Argonne Lodge No. 514, F. and A.M.

Note: Anthony was cremated at Cypress Lawn Cemetery in Colma, California. His ashes were transported to Red Bluff and interred at Oak Hill Cemetery on August 28, 1939.
