Graveside service for infant Lauren McKenzie Ballard of Decatur will be Sunday at 3:30 p.m. at East Lawrence Memorial Gardens with Shelton Funeral Home directing and the Rev. Tim Harrison officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2:30 until 3:30 p.m. at the gravesite.
Lauren was born and died Wednesday, October 2, 2002, at University of Alabama Hospital in Birmingham.
Survivors include her father, Frankie Ballard; mother, Jessica Ballard; two brothers, Tyler Blake Ballard and Nicolas Andrew Ballard; sister, Katlyn Marie Kelley; grandmother Mona McCulloch; and great-grandmother, Irene Kelley.
