Mrs. Myrtie H. Carmichael
WAYCROSS – Mrs. Myrtie Howard Carmichael, 69, died Tuesday at Ware Memorial Hospital after a short illness.

The Pierce County native lived most of her life in Ware County. She was a member of Crawford Street Baptist Church, the Okefenokee Chapter of Order of the Eastern Star and Singles Fellowship Club.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Anita Eckenrode of Charleston, S.C., Mrs. Marion Hall of Macon and Mrs. Nita Walker of Blackshear; three sisters, Mrs. Muriel Hallman and Mrs. Mattie Lee, both of Blackshear, and Mrs. Bill Livingston of Waycross; 11 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral: 11 a.m. Thursday at Crawford Street Baptist Church, burial in Oakland Cemetery. Miles-Odum Funeral Home.
