Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister, Betty Bennion Brown Bodily Tarbet, age 65, returned to our Heavenly Father on January 9, 1997 at St. Mark's Hospital of heart and respiratory failure.


Born February 28, 1931 to Edna Amy Bennion and Russell Little Brown.


Married Ruel Bodily; divorced. Married Glen F. Tarbet in October 1966 in the Salt Lake Temple.


She studied music and nursing, and taught piano and organ lessons to countless grateful, loving students. Her talents as an organist were admired by all who heard her play. Served missions on Temple Square in 1988, California San Jose from 1989-1990, and numerous other church callings.


Survived by husband, Glen; children, Lauris (Jim) Bateman, Linda Corgiat, Alan (Jodi) Bodily, Jan Bodily (Randy) Bruso; stepchildren, Scott (Joyce) Tarbet, Jami (Brad) Bernards; Carrie (Tony) Pearce, David Tarbet, Steven Tarbet Neves, Penny (Dallas) Freeman, Victor (Caroldean) Tarbet-Neves; brother, Lagrand (Lynn) Brown; 47 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her mother, father and daughter, Lisa.


Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 11, 1997 at 1 p.m. in the Kenwood Second Ward Chapel, 3080 South 1765 East. Viewing will be held on Friday from 6-9 p.m. at Cottonwood Memorial Mortuary, 4670 South Highland Drive, and at the Ward Chapel on Saturday from 11:30-12:30 p.m.
Interment at Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 South Redwood Road (1700 West).
