Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon for John Henry Adams, 53, who died suddenly Sunday Morning. Services were held at the Doebler Funeral Hom with Rev Torben Olsen officiating. Burial was in the Salmon Cemetery.
Mr. Adams and Sylvester Johnson had gone to Bear Valley on Hayden Creek Saturday for an outing. On Saturday they walked only a short distance fisying and prospecting before camping. In the night Mr. Johnson was awakened by a cry from Mr. Adams who complained of a pecularpain in his chest. As the pain grew worse they prepared to come to Salmon for medical aid. Mr. Adams died on the way. Cause of death was pronounced as acute heart attack.
John Henry Adams was born November 26, 1885 at Malad City, and came to Lemhi county at the age of 12. He has lived here since then.
Surviving are his widow Mrs. Rose Matthews Adams, three daughters, Jeanne, Glenna, and Delores, and one brother James and five sisters, Mrs.Bessie O'Connell. Mrs. Pearl Kerin, Mrs. Ruby Hixson, all of Salmon; Mrs. Elda Deneau of Poulsen, Montana and Mrs. Vera Crippen who lives in Canada.
