Audrey Mae (Hopper) Boswell,age 81, of Springfield, MO., passed away Sunday, June 14, 2009. She was born on September 6, 1927, in Reeds Springs, MO., and attended high school there. Audrey married Warren Boswell in McCook, Nebraska, and was a housewife. She also enjoyed baking and fishing. Audrey was preceeded in death by her husband Warren Boswell; father Everett Crockett Hopper; mother Sara Ellen (Baker) Hopper; and brother J.C. (Jay) Hopper. She is survived by her sons, Robert Everett Boswell, Springfield, MO. and Terry Warren Boswell and wife Nancy, Arlington, Texas; a sister Cumma Lewis; a brother Bob Hopper; grandchildren, Shannon Bragg, North Richland Hills, Courtney Williams, Hurst, Texas, Tucker Boswell, Euless, Texas, Stephanie Harrison, Plano, Texas, and Daniel Ladd, Richland, MO.; and great-grandchildren, Jordan, Angela, Piper, Jackson, Carly, and Clay. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 17, 2009, from 6 to 8pm., in Greenlawn Funeral Home East, with burial to follow at 1pm, at National Cemetery. The family suggests that memorial contributions may be made to M.D. Anderson Medical Center, Houston, Texas.
