HERMAN L. BURKHEAD, 80, of Decatur died Wednesday in Adams County Memorial Hospital. The Adams County native was a retired truck driver. Surviving are daughters, Sharon Perkins of Fort Wayne, Joyce Apple of Alvordton, Ohio; and Marty Vanzen of Cross Lake, Minn.; sons, Kent of Fort Wayne, Larry of Wilcox, Ariz., and Mark of California; sisters, Mable Butler and Mary Norman, both of Decatur; and several grandchildren.
Services are 10 a.m. tomorrow in Haggard & Armes Funeral Home, Decatur, where calling is 6 to 8 p.m. today. Burial will be in Decatur Cemetery. Preferred memorials are gifts to the American Heart Association.
