Delores L. Burger, 54, of 803 Mei?ers Street in Decatur, died at 10:15 a.m. Monday at the Adams County Memorial Hospital after an extended illness.
Born November 22, 1924 to Joby and Orloa (Debolt) Werst, Mrs. Burger, a former member of Trinity E.U.B. Church, worked for 20 years as a hand sander at Decatur Industries.
She was married on September 7, 1946 to Bryce W. Burger. He and Mrs. Burger's mother both survive. Other survivors include five sons: Kerry L., Steven B., Rickey W., Randall B., and Timothy B., all of Decatur, and one daughter, Mrs. James (Nancy) Kaehr, Decatur.
Also surviving are four brothers, Arthur J. Werst, Berne; Rex Gene Werst, Celina; Gary Dean Werst, Decatur and Patrick Allen Werst, Decatur. Six grandchildren also survive.
The funeral will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Winteregg-Linn and Haggard Funeral Home. Services will be in charge of Rev. Sylvester Martin and burial will be in the Decatur Cemetery. Visiting hours will be after 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Preferred memorials are to the heart fund.
