East Liverpool Review, East Liverpool OH, Saturday 06 June 1942, page 3 - WILLIAM GABRIEL ROWLEY, lifelong resident of Wayne Township where he was engaged in farming, died at 7:15 a.m. today at his home on the Lisbon-Gavers Road following an illness since January. He was 77. Born in Wayne Township, the son of ALEXANDER ROWLEY and MARTHA ROWLEY, he was a member of the Wayne Grange and former township trustee. He was a member of the Lisbon Presbyterian Church. He is survived by his widow, MRS. SADIE HICKMAN ROWLEY; a son, JOSEPH L. ROWLEY, and a daughter, MARIA ROWLEY, all at home; three sisters, MRS. GEORGE DONALDSON at Painesville, MRS. FANNIE MORROW of Pittsburgh and MRS. CHARLES WALKER of East Liverpool, and a brother, HARRY L. ROWLEY of Wellsville R. D. Funeral arrangements are incomplete. Funeral services will be held in the Bethel Presbyterian Church Tuesday at 2 p.m. by Rev. J. Morgan Cox, pastor of the Lisbon Church. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery. Friends may call at the home Sunday night or Monday afternoon or night.
