James Brown, Jr., Died Yesterday
At 12:30 o'clock yesterday afternoon, Mr. Jimmie Brown, Jr., aged 18 years, died at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Brown, No. 176 New street, Phenix City, after an illness of almost a year from lung trouble.
The deceased was a member of the Baptist church and was a young man possessed of many sterling qualities, and his many friends are deeply grieved to learn of his sad demise.
He is survived by his parents and a brother, Mr. Clyde Brown, of Phenix City, also by three sisters, Misses Carrie, Berta and Hattie Brown, all of Phenix City.
The funeral will take place from the residence at 3:30 o'clock this afternoon, the services being conducted by the Rev. Lamar Jones, and interment will be in Girard cemetery.
