POCAHONTAS — Bobbie Joann Chastain, 62, passed away Sunday, July 5, 2009, at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences Medical Center in Little Rock.
She was born Sept. 23, 1946, at Essex, Mo.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, William and Norene Thomason; father, Harold Miller; brother, Harold Ray Miller; sister, Patsy Hice; and stepson, Frankie Chastain.
She is survived by her husband, Frank Chastain Jr. of the home; two daughters, Anna Blevins and Anita Willfond, both of Pocahontas; three grandchildren, Jessica Blevins, Andrew Willfond and Cody Willfond, all of Pocahontas; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Hayes of Arcadia, Fla.; eight sisters, Connie Loper, Margie Marsh, Donna Hayes, Brenda Hayes, Wanda Williams, Carolyn Adams, Kathy McMinn and Pam Bowman; and eight brothers, John Hayes, Raymond Hayes, Robert Hayes, Mark Hayes, Dennis Hayes, Russell Hayes, Charles Miller and Jackie Miller.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in McNabb Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Randolph Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will include Steve Foster, Gary Tribble, Mark Thielemier, Jeff Willfond, Robert Tribble and Pauly Hawkins.
Visitation will be from 5-7 Wednesday evening.
