Mrs. Ida Dingman, well known resident of this village for many years, passed away at her home at 130 Cliff street on Sunday evening following an illness of eight months.

She was born in Gorgler, Switzerland, on February 20, 1873, a daughter of Victor P. and Isabelle Sophie Bourgius Fragniere and came to this country many years ago, and for many years has resided in Canajoharie. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran church, active in its membership and regular in attendance.

Surviving are three sons, James V. Dingman of Canajoharie; Raymond F. Dingman of Waterford, and Alton R. Dlngman of Canajoharie; three sisters, Mrs. Sophie Gourgen of Conn., Mrs. Matilda C. Tripet and Mrs. Alga Una Du Bols of Switzerland and three brothers, Louis H., Paul E. and Oli V. Fragniere, of Switzerland, two step-sons, William Dlngman of the U.S. Army, stationed stationed at Fort Meade, Maryland and Bernard Dingman of Conn., and one step-daughter Lida Dingman of Connecticut, also six
grandchildren.

The funeral service to be conducted by Rev Herman F. Vesper, pastor of St. John's Lutheran church, will be held at the home at 130 Cliff street on Wednesday afternoon at 3:30 and the remains will be place in the Catherine Nellis Chapel vault in Fort Plain cemetery to await interment later in the season.
