The second child of Mary and George Thomas, Natalie was her choice of names. She was nicknamed "Monkey" by her dad, and it stuck with her all of her life. She was "Aunt Monkey" to all the nieces and nephews.

Natalie married Charles Hardin McLauchlan, of Michigan, and they had one child, Mary Odessa, so named after both grandmothers.

She lived most of her life in Robertson County, and she was living in Bremond, Robertson Co., Tx. when she died.

Natalie was an expert seamstress and loved to grow potted plants. She was fortunate to be able to live in her own home until her death.
