Mrs. B. F. Breiner Dies Last Evening - Funeral Services Saturday Afternoon
Mrs. Sarah Celesta Breiner, 78, wife of B. Frank Breiner, died at 7:30 o'clock Wednesday evening at her home, 324 South Third street. Death was attributed to complications and followed an illness of 10 years. Her condition had been critical for the past four weeks.
Born in Adams county Aug. 29, 1869, she was a daughter of Elias and Elizabeth Donovan-Crist, and was a lifelong resident of the county. She was married to B. F. Breiner Dec. 19, 1889, and the family resided on a farm southwest of Decatur until a few years ago.
Surviving in addition to the husband are a son, Roma Breiner, of Decatur; two grandchildren; one brother, John F. Crist of Monroe, and one sister, Mrs. Hattie M. Andrews of Decatur. One daughter preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Black funeral home, with Dr. Gerald H. Jones officiating. Burial will be in the Decatur cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 o'clock this evening.
