Addie as she was affectionally known was the daughter of Robert Green and Joesphine Pratt Newman. She married Julious Owen Hearn 24 Dec 1916 in Rossville, Atascosa, Texas. They lived in Atascosa county, later moving to Encinal, LaSalle, Texas where they lived the rest of thier lives. They had two children, Jelma Hearn Zirkle and Dwyatt Owen Sr. Hearn.

They celebrated their 60th wedding anniversay in 1976.
