Obituary: Lloyd A. Cantrell, 74, of Springfield, MO, passed away at 11:40 pm, Monday, Nov. 20, 2000 in Cox Medical Center North. Lloyd was born March 25, 1926 in Niangua, MO, the son of Azzo and Minnie Gilleland Cantrell. He was a member of Glenstone Baptist Church and retired after 33 years with the Missouri State Highway Department. He and his wife Nancy spent several winters in Venice, FL. Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents, son David Lloyd Cantrell, a brother Dwight Cantrell, a sister Dorothy Fain, and granddaughter Leslye Dawn Davis.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years Nancy Barbara Cantrell, daughter Karen and husband Don Davis, Springfield, MO; son William and wife Tammy Garton, Stilwell, KS; grandchildren Bradley Davis, Andrew, Madison, McGovern, and Mia Garton, brother Harold Clyde Cantrell.
