Funeral services for Kenneth
D. Urbauer, 66, were Wed-
nesday afternoon at the Ur-
bauer Funeral Home in Edgar.
Mr. Urbauer died Monday at his
home in Edgar. A heart attack
was the apparent cause of
death.
He owned funeral homes at
St. Edward and Hastings
before moving to Edgar in 1963
where he owned Urbauer
Funeral Home.
June 10,1932, he was married
to Grace Welch. They have one
son, Barton.
He was a member of the Lions
Club, Masonic Lodge, Scottish
Rite Lodge, Shrine and Elks
Lodge. A graduate of Worsham
College, Chicago, ILL., he was a
licensed funeral director and
embalmer in Nebraska and
Iowa.
Survivors are his wife,
Grace; son, Dr. Barton D.
Urabuer, Grand Island;
grandchildren, Angela,
Rebecca, Matthew, Kimberly
Urbauer, Grand Island;
brothers, Lester of Lincoln, Bill
of Portland, Ore., Dale of
Shickley, Merton of Davenport,
Lee of Hermiston, Ore., Dean of
Lincoln and Loren of Edgar;
and one sister, Grace Kohler,
Sutton.
The Rev. Charles Carter and
Rev. Victor Schwarz officiated
at the services and burial was in
the Edgar Cemetery.
