MRS. M. VELTROP DIED YESTERDAY AT HOME HERE
Suffered a Fractured Hip Several Weeks Ago; Funeral Services Monday.
Mrs. Mary T. Veltrop, 72 years old, died a the home of her daughter Mrs. T. J. Franken, 1700 E. Miller, early yesterday morning. Several weeks ago, Mrs. Veltrop suffered a fractured hip. Pneumonia set in, which was the direct cause of her death.
Mrs. Veltrop was born in Taos and spent all of her life there except the past thirteen years, during which she lived a the home of her daughter here in Jefferson City.
She is survived by seven children. Her husband, Gerd Veltrop, preceded her in death ten years ago. She was formerly Miss Mary Bernskoetter of Taos.
Mrs. Veltrop was a devout member of Immaculate Conception Church and well-loved by all who knew her.
The funeral will be held Monday morning at 9 o'clock from the Immaculate Conception Church, and the burial will be at Taos Cemetery.
