Funeral for Phillip Gene Sherrill, 43, of Trinity will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Parkway Funeral Home with the Rev. Wayne Turner officiating.

Burial will be in Red Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 8:30 at the funeral home.

Mr. Sherrill died Friday, July 30, 1999, at his home. He was born September 28, 1955, in Athens. He was a construction worker.

He is survived by his wife, Nita Sherrill; four daughters, Brandi Sherrill of Decatur, and Chasity Sherrill, Jada Sherrill and Tara Sherrill, all of Trinity; three brothers, Jeff Sherrill of Moulton, Chris Sherrill of Nashville and Derek Sherrill of Town Creek; two sisters, Andrea Zahnd of Trinity and Resa Fore of Town Creek; and his grandmothers, Sallie Sherrill of Trinity and Marie Carter of Athens.

Pallbearers will be Darren Sore, Tim Blankenship, Harold Johnson, Donald Vance, Rodney Motes and Arnold Alexander.
