SOUTHINGTON — Patricia "Petie" (Noonan ) D'Angelo, 81, passed away Friday, July 3, 2009, at Bradley Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of the late Dr. Anthony D'Angelo.

She was born Sept. 26, 1927, in Derby, the daughter of the late Francis and Gladys (Gade) Noonan. She had been a registered nurse, a parishioner of St. Thomas Church and a volunteer at Bradley Memorial Hospital Thrift and Gift Shop.

She is survived by her children, Patricia Kanute and her husband, David, Nancy Yalanis and her husband, Stephen, Debra Wiltse and her husband, David, all of Southington, Thomas D'Angelo and his wife, Susan, of Trumbull; 11 grandchildren, Jennifer Warren and her husband, Chris, Amy Marsh and her husband, Les, Sarah Drayton, Tracy Sizer and her husband, Mark, Christopher Yalanis, Brian D'Angelo, Scott D'Angelo, Anthony Wiltse, Matthew D'Angelo, Rebecca Wiltse and Adam Wiltse; and 4 great-grandchildren, Cody Warren, Jaedyn Drayton, Brooke Warren and Caitlin Sizer. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law, Lorraine Noonan, Marjorie D'Angelo, Josephine D'Angelo and Mary Mancini; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Francis "Luke" Noonan, and a sister, Nancy Hummel.

The funeral will be held Tuesday at 9:15 a.m. from the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., to St. Thomas Church, 99 Bristol St., for a Mass at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Thomas Cemetery. Calling hours will be Monday from 5 to 8 p.m.
