Ralph T. Kisor, a resident of Pierz, died Aug. 17, 2007, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Brainerd.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held Monday at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Harding with Rev. Roger Thoennes officiating. Burial was in the parish cemetery.
Ralph was born Sept. 26, 1938, in Little Falls to the late Carl and Leona Kisor. He grew up in Platte Township and attended country school. Ralph worked with his parents on the farm until age 18. He then worked at Larson Boat Works in Little Falls and a few years later at Franklin Manufacturing in St. Cloud. Ralph was united in marriage to Alvina M. Cronquist Dec. 28, 1957, at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Harding. In 1970, he began working for Thelen Heating and Roofing Co., as a roofer. After over 30 years at Thelen's, Ralph retired in 2000 to his hobby farm. He enjoyed taking care of the hobby farm and family gatherings. Ralph was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Harding and Local #96 Union.
Ralph T. Kisor is survived by his wife Alvina Kisor; sons Joe Kisor and wife Mary of Pierz, Clyde Kisor and wife Yvonne of Pierz, Curt Kisor and wife Rita of Big Lake, Brian Kisor and wife Sheri of Becker and Dan Kisor of Pierz; daughter Missy Misbe and husband Chris of Pierz; 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Ralph was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Vernon and William Kisor and sister Betty Jane Konen.
Casketbearers were Mike, Corey, Cody and Dylan Kisor, Thom Kreutter and Kevin Cronquist.
