Albert Dombovy Dies Suddenly At Home
Albert Dombovy, 54, Platte Township, died suddenly at his home Saturday, Jan. 13. He had spent all of his life in this area.
He is survived by his wife, Helen; two sons, Eugene, Minneapolis, and Gary, at home; and two daughters, Mrs. Fred (Carol) Palashewski, and Cheryl, both of Minneapolis; a brother, Anthony Dombovy, Platte Township; five sisters, Mrs. Leo Kowalzek, Platte Township, Mrs. Walter Piasecki, Route 3, Pierz, Mrs. Ed Schromel, Brainerd, Mrs. Henry Sporlein and Mrs. Ray Bacon, Chicago, Ill., and one grandchild.
Funeral services with a Requiem Mass was held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Cross Church in Harding, with Rev. Leo Otto officiating, and burial was in the parish cemetery.
The Rosary was prayed at 8:30 Monday evening in the Pierz Brenny Funeral Home which was in charge of arrangements.
