Ella Ausybell Bullington, 82, died October 31, 1997 at the Baptist East Hospital in Memphis, Tn. Born September 7, 1915, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence Ferrell and Mary Ada Humpress Ferrell.
She attended school in Obion County.
On April 4, 1931 in Caruthersville, she was married to Ernest Joy Bullington. He preceded her in death on December 14, 1995. Having been married 64 years, most of the time they lived in the McCarty area where they engaged in farming and gardening. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of the Nazarene.
Survivors include: five sons, Ernest L. Bullington Jr., Earl Bullington, Jimmy Bullington and Glen Bullington all of Caruthersville, Mo. and Dale Bullington of Springdale, Ark.; one daughter, Sharon Kay Smith of Caruthersville, Mo.; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; three sisters, Ruby, Bernice and Marie; two brothers, Dalton and Linburg and many other relatives and friends.
Services were held on November 3, 1997 at 10 a.m. at the Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Elmer Brunton officiating. Burial was in the Maple Cemetery.
