Courtney Ann, "Cookie" Wolfe, 76, of Gautier, MS, passed away on Saturday, June 24, 2006. She was born June 24, 1930 in New Orleans, LA. She was a wonderful wife, mother, homemaker, artist, gardener, and friend. She was a very active member of the Gautier Presbyterian Church. She was also a member of the 20th Century Club. She will be greatly missed by all.
She was preceded in death by her father and step-mother, Carroll D. and Mildred Frankel, her mother and step-father Eulah C. and William B. Nourse, and her brother William Nourse.
Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Jesse J. Wolfe, Gautier, MS; son, Jimmy (Susan) Wolfe, Jackson, TN; daughter, Holly (Steve) Crew, ocean Springs, Ms; son, Billy (Susan) Wolfe, Waggaman, LA; daughter Ann (Brint) Davis, Denver, CO; sister, Carol Triplett, TX; brother, Pat Kevlin, FL; mother-in-law, Millie I. Wolfe, New Orleans, LA. Grandchildren, Jennifer Trussell, Pascagoula, MS; Matt Thweatt, Orlando, FL; Caroline Thweatt, Grand Bay, AL; Emily Wolfe, Memphis, TN; Max Wolfe, Jackson TN; Jason and Chris Wolfe, New Orleans, LA; Collins and Audrey Ann Davis, Denver, CO; Christie Collins, Sulfur, LA. Great Grandchildren, Jacob Trussell, Pascagoula, MS Reece and Allie Miller, Grand Bay, AL; Kaiba Thweatt, Orlando, FL; Jack and Isaac Collins, Sulfur, LA; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be 6-9 p.m., Monday, June 26, 2006 at Heritage Funeral Home, in Escatwapa, MS. Funeral Service will be Tuesday at 11:00 a.m., June 27, 2006 at Gautier Presbyterian Church with a 1 hour viewing prior to service. Burial will follow at Machpelah Cemetery in Pascagoula.
Pallbearers will be Dick Meenike, Bill Fishinger, Bob Stephens, Matthew Avara, Bobby Laney and Jim Talbot. Honorary Pallbearers will be W.T. Avara, Jr., L. Rupert Cirlot, Francis J. Frederic, Jr.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to The Gautier Presbyterian Church Outreach Rebuilding Ministry.
