John Paul Comer, 55, of Culpeper and Zephyrhills,
Fla., died at his home in Florida, Saturday. * 18Mar1989
He was born Jun 9,1933, at Shenandoah and was a son of the late Harry and Myrtle Comer.
Mr. Comer was a former resident of Shenandoah, a Veteran of the Korean War and a member of Culpeper Assemby of God Church.
Suviving are his wife, Joyce Lucille Comer of Shenandoah; A son, Donald L.Comer of Shenandoah; two daughters, Sharon Fox of Shenandoah and Deborah Brown of Madison; a brother Elwood Comer of Shenandoah; a sister, Helen Richards of Muncie, Ind; and three grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday at the Assemby of God Church in Shenandoah by the Rev. Bill Smith. Burial will be in Eastlawn Memorial Gardens in Harrisonburg.
The family will receive friends 7-8 p.m. thursday at the Kyger Funeral Home in Shenandoah.
