Preston R. Love, 88, of Salem, died Sunday.
He was born in Ruston, Louisiana, and moved to Salem in 1938. He was an Army veteran of World War I and a retired timber faller.
Survivors include his daughter, Maxine McNorton, and son, Ottwell.
Graveside services will begin at 2 p.m. Friday in Willamette National Cemetery, Portland. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, and 9 to 11 a.m. Friday in Virgil T. Golden Mortuary, Salem.
