GEORGE S. KESSLER

George S. Kessler died at his home near Jefferson on Saturday night at 8 o'clock after a long illness from a complication of diseases. He was 87 years old.
He is survived by his widow and the following children: Robert Kessler, Spring Grove; Mrs. Jonas Rebert, York; Charles, Chester and Serenus Kessler, North Codorus Township, and Mrs. Daniel Lease, Bair; also, by 24 grandchildren; one brother, Jacob Kessler, Jefferson, and a sister, Mrs. Jacob Baker, Farmers.
Funeral services will be held from his late residence on Tuesday with short services at the house followed by further obsequies at Jefferson Lutheran Church. The Rev. W. H. Ehrhart will officiate. Interment will be made in the Jefferson Cemetery.
