He was born Oct. 26, 1935, in Springfield, the son of John and Elizabeth Conroy Kelly. He was preceded in death by six sisters, Sarah Giacomo, Elizabeth Ray, Ellen Schmitz, Mary Jenkins, Anna Kelly and Margaret Miller.
Mr. Kelly was a graduate of Cathedral Boys High School and a veteran of the Air Force. He was a window clerk for the Postal Service for 35 years, retiring in 1990. He was a member of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, American Postal Workers Union and the Sunset Club.
Surviving are one sister, Catherine Kelly of Springfield, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
