Bryan was born Nov. 25, 1939, in Glen Rose to Herbert and Lillie West. Bryan was a member of First Baptist Church of Fort Worth. He worked as a construction superintendent for J.C. Penney and Thomas S. Burns. For the last 15 years, Bryan was construction superintendent and the adviser for the Rachofsky House Modern Art Museum in Dallas, where he was featured in Architectural Digest.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Lillie West.
Survivors: Wife of 48 years, Lola Claudine West; children, Diana and William Wilson, Jerry Bryan and Pennie West; father, Herbert West; brothers, James P. and wife, Linda Sue West, William H. and wife, Linda West; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and many relatives and friends.
