Charles N. Dysard, 78, of 409 Crawford Apartments, Huntingdon, was dead on arrival at J.C. Blair Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon at 9:05 a.m. Thursday, January 2, 1975. He suffered an apparent heart seizure.

Born September 3, 1896 at Ardenheim, he was a son of Robert M. and Martha E. (Long) Dysard. He was twice married, first to Alice M. Bradley, who passed away in 1949. On June 4, 1952 he wed the former Elma Stapleton who survives.

Also surviving are four children by the first union. Mrs. Raymond (Edna) Brosius, Huntingdon. R.D. 3; Charles, Hustontown; Mrs. Herbert (Verna) Cunningham, Morgantown, W.Va. and Mrs. Robert (Thelma) Cunningham, Altoona. There are 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Mr. Dysard left six brothers and sisters, Mrs. Kathryn Shields. Mrs. Carrie Keppler and Mrs. Donna Williams, all of Huntingdon, R.D. 3; Mrs. Pearl Weber, Pittsburgh; Harry, Morgantown, W. Va. and Robert, Huntingdon, R.D. 2. Three sisters, Lucy. Elizabeth and Jenny, preceded in death.

The deceased attended the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church in Huntingdon. He had been employed as a trackman for the Pennsylvania Railroad for a number of years, prior to his retirement.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 4, from the Peters funeral home in Huntingdon. The Rev. Thomas Owens will officiate and burial will be in the Goodman Cemetery, Huntingdon, R.D.3. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 4 p.m. this Friday afternoon, and from 7 p.m. tonight until time for services on Saturday.
