Obituary:
Mr. Claude Allen Bare, age 80, a resident of Martin Manor, Rockwood, TN passed away Saturday, November 10, 2007 at the Marshall C. Voss Health Care Center, Harriman, TN.
He was born October 17, 1927 in Rhea County, TN. Mr. Bare was a member of Whites Creek Baptist Church, Rockwood and was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII, serving with the 2nd Infantry, 38th Combat Team from 1945-1946.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie & Sallie Cooper Bare.
Survivors include, Aunt Mahalia Cooper of Rockwood, TN; Several Cousins including members of the Cooper and McCuiston families and a host of friends at Martin Manor.
Funeral services will be held Monday, November 12, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Evans Mortuary with Rev. Charles Kelley officiating.
Graveside services and interment will be held Tuesday, November 13, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in the Glen Alice Cemetery in Rockwood with full military honors by the Roane County Military Memorial Honor Guard.
The family will receive friends Monday, November 12 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Evans Mortuary.
