Died 3 a.m. Wednesday, May 6, 1992, at East Jefferson Hospital, Metairie. He was 78, a native and resident of Franklinton. He was a retired businessman in Franklinton area and a U.S. Navy World War II veteran.
Visiting at Crain Funeral Home, Franklinton, 9 a.m. until 1:45 p.m. Thursday. Religious services at Centenary United Methodist Church, Franklinton at 2 p.m. Thursday, conducted by Dr. Spiller Milton. Burial in Ellis Cemetery , Franklinton.
Survived by a daughter, Mrs. Bonnie Dinot, Baton Rouge; three sons, Dick Green, Chester W. Green, both of Franklinton, and Rankin Carter Green, New Orleans; two sisters, Mrs. Frank (Peggy) Reedy, and Mrs. Nellie Dawson, both of Franklinton; and five grandchildren.
Preceded in death by wife, Victory Carter Green. He was a founding member of Bowling Green School in Franklinton, and a member of Centenary United Methodist Church in Franklinton.
