Mass murderer. He was a 47-year old disgruntled ex-employee of Standard Gravure, a printing company located in Louisville, Kentucky. On September 14, 1989, he entered his former place of employment carrying an arsenal of weapons including an AK-47 rifle. He systematically opened fire, killing eight people and wounding 12 others. Wesbecker then turned the gun on himself. He had a long history of mental illness, and because he began taking Prozac about a month prior to the shooting, family members of the deceased and wounded filed suit against Eli Lily, the manufacturer of Prozac, claiming that Prozac played a role in Wesbecker's actions. The jury decided in favor of Eli Lily.
