Otto Going, 81, of Caruthersville, died June 2, 1991 at Methodist Central Hospital in Memphis. Born Sept. 5, 1909 in Harrison, Ark., he was the son of John C. and Birdie Johnston Going. He was employed by Caruthersville School District for over 47 years.
He is survived by two sons, Perry Going of Caruthersville and Otto Going Jr. of Seattle; Five daughters, Mrs. Betty Teeter of McKenzie, Tenn., Mrs. Anne Thompson of Caruthersville, Mrs. Linda Griffin of Milan, Tenn., Mrs. Cathy Kellett of Clinton, Ky., and Mrs. Peggy Landers of Baton Rouge, La.; Seventeen grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Services were June 5 at 11 a.m. at H.S. Smith Funeral Home chapel in Caruthersville, the Rev. Paul Currie officiating, with burial in Maple Cemetery.
