From the Eau Claire Leader-Telegram; Tuesday, January 28, 1936
Stanley __ Mrs. Nellie Greswick who resided in Stanley for nearly 30 years, died in Superior Jan. 19 after a weeks illness.
She was born in Norway in 1855 and came to America in 1883 and lived at Red Cedar Falls for about 25 years. She came to Stanley 30 years ago, and six years she went to Superior to make her home with a daughter. Mr. Greswick died 49 years ago.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Inga Hanson, this city; Mrs. Alma Flaten and Mrs. Anna Williams, Superior; Mrs. Eva Lambert, Gold Bar, Washington; two sons, Ole, Superior, and Chris of Colfax; 26 grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Anton L. Solie, and a brother in Norway.
Funeral services were at Superior Jan. 23, and interment was made there.
