She was born Sept. 3, 1918 in Columbus Grove to Abraham and Mary Kramer Losh, who preceded her in death. On Jan. 7, 1939, she married Gerald G. Fischer, who died June 12, 2005.
Mrs. Fischer was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, Kalida, and its Altar Rosary Society and Catholic Ladies of Columbia. She was a member of Ottawa Senior Citizens. She enjoyed quilting and puzzles.
Survivors include a son, Donald (Diana) Fischer, of Kalida; four daughters, Edna Paxon, of Lima, Dorothy (Kenneth) Decker, of Ottawa, Wilma (Jerry) Buckland, of Ballwin, Mo., and Rita (Ken) Klima, of Antwerp; 13 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; a brother, Albert Losh, of Iowa; and two sisters, Alice Yaney, of Celina and Lucille Harrison, of Battle Creek, Mich.
She was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Carl Paxon; five grandchildren; three brothers, Joseph, Dick and John Losh; and three sisters, Mary Ann Howard, Betty Hyde and Eileen Carver.
A funeral mass will begin at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Kalida. Father Mark Hoying will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Love Funeral Home, Ottawa, where a Rosary Service will be held at 7 p.m. by the Altar Rosary and CLC.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
