Died, at 4 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at St. John's hospital, James Gaffigan of 1513 East Washington street, aged 24 years. Decedent is survived by his wife, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. M. Gaffigan, four sisters, Mrs. T. Ryan of Galena, Mrs. A. L. Ricketts of Chicago, Mrs. Lyman Little and Miss Helen Gaffigan of Springfield, and one brother, P. M. Gaffigan, of this city. He had been ill but a short time, having been operated on Saturday at St. John's hospital for appendicitis. Death was due to complications. Funeral services will be held Thursday morning from the residence and from the Immaculate Conception Catholic church. Burial will be in Calvary cemetery.
