Mrs. June L. Nease, 66, of Rt. 1 Claremont, lifelong resident of Richland County, died suddenly Saturday evening, while working in the yard of her country home.

She was the widow of George S. Nease, who passed away on August 3, 1965.

Mrs. Nease was born in German Township on January 15, 1901, daughter of Burton and Glenn Bauman Butler. She had lived the past thirty-four years in Claremont Township.

She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Dale (Georgia) Guinnee of Decatur, Mrs. Gloria Henman of Brigham City, Utah, Mrs. Delbert (Vera) Baiter of Sumner, and Mrs. Jerome (Judy) Klingler of Rt. 3, Olney; three sons, Richard L. Nease, of Basin, Wyoming, Joe Nease of Rt. 1, Claremont, and Lawrence Nease of Rt. 1, Claremont. Also surviving, is a brother, Trail Butler of New London, Conn., and a sister, Mrs. Jean Shaw of Olney, seventeen grandchildren and one great granddaughter.

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son De Forest, in 1942.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Chapel of the Schaub Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Amity Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4:00 p.m. Monday.
