HARPER WARD - Morris Lansing Allen, 79, of 2947 N. Highway 69, died Tuesday, Nov. 26, 1985, at a local nursing home of causes incident to age.

He was born Nov. 22, 1906, in Ogden, a son of Albern Morris and Blanche Lillian Lansing Allen.

He married Klea Mae Passey June 8, 1928, In the Logan LDS Tempte.

He graduated from Ogden High School and took several college classes at the BYU Extension Center in Ogden.

After his marriage he lived in Ogden until 1936, when he moved to North Ogden. In 1967, he bought a farm and moved to Harper Ward where he had lived since.

He was an actlve member of the LDS Church and was a teacher in the MlA, in the Sunday School presidency, a home teacher, and a high priest. He was actlve in genealogical work and served six years in thr Brigham City Genealoglcal Branch Llbrary. He had worked in the Scouting program in North Ogden.

Ho had been a member of the North Ogden Kiwanis Club and was a certified Poultrician.

He retired in April of 1970 from the Utah Power and Light Co., after 42 years of ssrvice.

Surviving are his widow of Harper Ward, one son, Morris Lansing Allen Jr., Harper Ward; four daughters, Mrs. Duaine (Louise) Simmons, Mrs. Clark (Linda) Siddoway, both of Harper
Ward; Mrs. Bryce (Ruth) Owen, Honeyville; Mrs. Don (Gay Lynn) Bush, Amerlcan Fork; 24, grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Friday at 1 p.m. at the Olsen Funeral Chapel in Brigham City.

Friends may call at the mortuary Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday one hour prior to services.

Interment in the Ogden Clty Cemetery.
