Anona was born June 19, 1910 in Salt Lake City, daughter of Merl Lyman and Irene Lyman Lamont.
Anona worked for Purity Biscuit Company in Salt Lake City and also for Duncan's Cafe. She was a member of the LDS Church and spent many hours doing genealogy work for her family.
She is survived by her brother, Ken Lyman (Betty), Long Beach, California, and her sister, Doris Pearson (Ivan), Salt Lake City. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Jim and Duncan Lamont; and a sister, Holly Lamont.
Graveside Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, January 6, 1997 in the Salt Lake City Cemetery, 200 "N" Street. Friends may call in the Belvedere Ward Building, 600 East Downington Avenue (1830 South), on Sunday, January 5, 1997 from 6-8 p.m.
