SHELBY-Louise Greene, 89, of West Warren Street, died Wednesday, July 11, 2012.
A native of Rutherford County, Louise was born December 3, 1922. She was a
member of Zoar Baptist Church and in addition to being a homemaker she was a
former clerk at the Eleanor Shop and a daycare worker at Westview Baptist
Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John Callahan and Elizabeth Reavis
Callahan; husband, Charlie Greene; a son, David Greene; a brother, Jack
Callahan; and sisters, Betty Jones and Margaret Norman.
She is survived by her son, John Greene and wife, Marilyn, of Asheville, N.C.;
daughter Mary Delozier and husband, Ric, of Shelby; a sister, Nell Lowery of
Henrietta, N.C.; grandchildren, Melissa Greene, Amy Cropper, Chris Mode,
Samantha Campbell, Mary Eason, Julie Eason and Rick Delozier; as well as a nine
great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation: The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11 a.m. to
noon.
