Vic was born on May 2, 1934, in Manchester, Massachusetts. He was raised in that area and later moved to Fort Walton Beach after retiring from the U.S. Air Force in the early 1970s. He then worked for the Okaloosa County School Board, retiring in 1998 after 17 years.
Vic was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Viola Jasiak; and siblings, John and Mary. He is survived by his brother, Edward Jasiak of Manchester; his wife, Betty (Oglesby) Jasiak; his daughter, Virginia Jasiak; his son, Victor Joseph Jasiak, Jr. (Bobbi), his grandson, Zachary Dale; his granddaughters, Kristen, Victoria and Kelsey; his great grandsons, David Earl and Jeff Collins, all of Fort Walton Beach. His stepchildren: Ginger Shelton (Bob) of Altenburg, Mo., Cynthia Tumlin (Jim) of Fort Walton Beach, Sheila Linscomb (Wakeman) of Lafayette, La., Stephanie Williams (Ken) of Fort Walton Beach, and David Oglesby (Robin) of Crestview, Fla.; 19 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Vic was a wonderful husband, father and friend. He will be greatly missed.
