Funeral services for David Ray Howard, 46, of Wilson will be at 1 p.m. Friday, July 3, 2009, at Roberts Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at McAlister Cemetery. Brother Mike Williams will be officiating.
David was born on Aug. 28, 1962, in Ardmore to Calvin Ray and Rana Anita Owens Howard. He departed this life on June 30, 2009, at Ardmore. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Gary Howard.
David was a blessing to all his family. He enjoyed watching T.V. and being around his family. He liked going on fishing trips with them. He was a dear person and was truly loved by all of his family. He is now well, running and laughing in Heaven. David will be truly missed by all that knew him.
He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Ralph and Valerie Howard and nieces and nephews of the home, Kayla, Justin, Brandon, Brooklyn and Daniel; brother and sisterin– law, Arthur and Regina Howard of Shawnee; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other family members.
Pallbearers will be Nancy McMillan, Stacie Howard, Valerie Howard. Ralph Howard, Justin Howard and Arthur Hughes. Honorary bearers will be J.T. O'Conner, Chuck Watterson and employees of Hope Community Services.
