Hilary Henderson, 88, of Richland, IN, died Thursday, August 6, 1998, at Miller’s Merry Manor in Rockport, IN. He was born in Hardinsburg, was a farmer and was a member of Blacklick Baptist Church in Hardinsburg. Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Ethel Henderson; 3 sons, Hilary Henderson Jr. of Hatfield, IN, James Roy Henderson of Rockport, IN, and Earl Henderson of Tell City, IN; 4 daughters, Faye Miller and Dorothy Goodwin, both of Rockport, IN, and Sue Cameron and Lucile Zoglman, both of Chrisney, IN; 18 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; a brother, Will Henderson of Guston; and a sister, Alene Phillips of Fairmont, IN. Services are at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport. Burial will be in James Parker Cemetery in Hatfield. Visitation is from 1-8 p.m. today and after 8 a.m. Sunday at the funeral home. The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the American Cancer Society. Memorial contribution envelopes are available at the funeral home.
